Our ‘Winter Wellbeing’ fund is offering community groups and charities the chance to apply for support for projects that help local communities with the rising cost-of-living.
Groups can apply for help to either start or development projects which meet the fund’s outlined criteria, providing food, hygiene and basic household supplies.
Paul Moralee, Community Investment Manager at Karbon Homes, said: “As the cost of living continues to rise, more and more residents across our communities are having to make stark decisions between heating their homes and buying food and household essentials.
“With people becoming reliant on the support they receive from the communities we want to do what we can to help as many local groups and charities as possible to continue providing this vital support.
The fund is an offshoot of Karbon’s Community Investment Fund, and is specifically targeting the groups that work in communities where there is a high proportion of Karbon residents and significant need.
The current funding round closes on October 31 and funding decisions will be announced by the middle of November.
