From the start of December 2023 to the end of February was among the wettest on record. Heavy rain has continued through March and due to these wet weather conditions, our Grounds Maintenance grass cutting cycle has been disrupted.
A majority of the areas we look after have become very water logged and have been unable to dry out. To try and operate in these areas would cause both damage to the ground and risk damage to machinery, and would be unsafe for our operators to work in.
Wherever possible we are using lighter equipment and undertaking other related tasks to keep on top of the grounds maintenance as best we can.
We will resume normal service as soon as the weather and ground conditions have improved, and will work to check up on what maintenance has had to be left as quickly as possible.
We thank you for your patience in the meantime.
