Here at Karbon Homes, we believe in delivering high quality products, systems and services to our customers.
To ensure we do this, we use a procurement process to secure the best possible outcome for our customers.
Our procurement activities follow a clear process which allows all interested parties a fair chance to work with us.
But there's something missing from this process - you!
What is the Customer Procurement Panel?
We want to have our customers' voice as part of procurement so we can get your thoughts on:
- How we can improve the services we offer
- How you would like us to shape Karbon Homes and future services
- How we can ensure we're delivering value for money for you
We know the best way to improve is to listen to feedback from our customers and work with you to act on it, which is why we've set up this panel.
Who can join?
The panel is open for any Karbon Homes customer to join.
You may have worked in construction, manufacturing or corporate services, which would give you a great insight into the work we do and we'd love for you to join the panel.
However, a lot of people have transferrable skills such as team work, a willingness to challenge or report writing skills, all of which are extremely valuable to us as well and we'd greatly value your insight as well.
How often does the panel meet?
We'll be setting up a trial session so you can get a feel for what the panel will be like and the sort of things we'll be doing. The session will take place on Tuesday 31 October, 1-3pm in Conference Room 2 at Karbon Homes' Gosforth Office.
If you decide to join us permanently, the meetings will take place four times a year.
Plus there's a free hamper for everyone who becomes a panel member.
How do I join?
If you would like to take part or find out more, please contact us by emailing connectwithkarbon@karbonhomes.co.uk.
We want to ensure that our panels have as much community representation as possible. If you know any people or community groups who you think should also be involved, please pass this information onto them as we would love them to be part of the panel.
We look forward to hearing from you.
More opportunities to get involved
We're now recruiting customers for our Customer Grants Panel.
You can work with our Community Investment Team to review grant applications via our Community Fund, which supports projects that make a real difference to people’s lives and wellbeing within the communities you live in. You'll be asked to score and provide feedback on each application received together with an opportunity to recommend approval for funding.
