Do you want the opportunity to have your say on what happens at Karbon?

At Karbon Homes, we believe in creating strong connected communities where everyone has a voice. One of the ways we do this is through our Customer Engagement Groups. They're designed to ensure that you are actively involved in shaping the services and decisions that impact your daily lives.

What are Customer Engagement Groups?

Customer Engagement Groups are forums where Karbon customers come together to share their thoughts, ideas and concerns with the aim of improving services, fostering community sprint and creating positive changes in our communities. There's also the opportunity to hear from Karbon Homes colleagues about the services we offer and the work we have planned. Plus, we also regularly welcome partners and groups working within communities such as the police and council.

Upcoming opportunities to get involved with Karbon

Consett Area Forum
Wednesday 2 October, 5pm-6.30pm, Glenroyd House, Medomsley Rd, Consett DH8 5HL and online via Microsoft Teams

If you live in the Consett Area then our Forum gives you a great chance to make sure that the local issues that matter to you are being addressed.

You'll get the chance to hear from the Silver Talk Team about their events and activities for people aged 50+ in the area. We'll also have colleagues from our Investment Team talk about their plans to improve homes in the area.

Wake Up West End Community Day
Tuesday 22 October, 10am - 2pm at Merton Lodge, Benwell, Newcastle upon Tyne NE4 8QW

After receiving feedback from customers from our Newcastle and North Tyneside Area Forum, we've set up this community day to give customers in the area the chance to meet colleagues from teams across Karbon Homes, including repairs, grounds maintenance, housing, safer communities and more. You can find out about the services we deliver and what customers need to take responsibility for themselves.

They will also have the opportunity to meet external partners like the Police, Newcastle City Council and Newcastle Citizen Group and hear about our big environmental push to tackle litter and fly tipping in the area.

Environment Group
Monday 14 November, 10:30am – 12:30pm at our Gosforth office and online via Microsoft Teams

Want to have an impact on the environment? Our Environment Groups gives you the chance to be part of our Response to Climate Change project and address how we can make a cleaner more sustainable environment for current and future generations.

At this meeting you'll get the chance to find out how we’ve performed in our latest environmental assessment, get an update on our exciting green employment programmes and learn about the energy efficiency upgrades we’re making to our homes.

Newcastle and North Tyneside Area Forum
Wednesday 6 November, 11am - 1.30pm at our Gosforth office and online via Microsoft Teams

If you live in the Newcastle and North Tyneside Area then our Forum gives you a great chance to make sure that the local issues that matter to you are being addressed.

You'll get the chance to speak to our Housing Management Team, as well as finding out more about our grounds maintenance service delivery, building and customer safety and community investment in the area.
