In partnership with Esh Construction, we've submitted plans for £9m land led development of 50 affordable homes, to be built in Jarrow, South Tyneside.
The proposed plans include a mix of two, three and four-bedroom houses, and two-bedroom flats, which will be developed on a site off Perth Avenue and Inverness Road, which is allocated for residential development in South Tyneside Council’s emerging Local Plan.
A multi-use games area, currently located to the east of site, will be renewed and relocated closer to the Perth Green Children’s Play Area as part of the plans.
Each home will include individual gardens and private parking facilities. Elsewhere on the site the provision of a new Sustainable Urban Drainage System will help to reduce the risk of flooding in the area and new planting will be included to create habitats for wildlife.
If given the greenlight the new homes will be deliver with funding from Homes England, through our strategic partnership with the government’s housing delivery agency. The strategic partnership is supporting us to deliver 2,200 new affordable homes across the North East and Yorkshire over the next few years.
