The rollout of Universal Credit (UC) continues with more customers across the region being invited to claim.
If invited, you will receive a “migration notice”. If you're not sure what to do, please contact the Money Matters team. Remember that you don't need to do anything until you get a migration notice, and you'll normally have three months to make a claim.
By April 2024, everyone who gets 'tax credits only' should have been invited to move to UC.
From April 2024 Income Support claimants and those claiming Tax Credits with Housing Benefit will be invited to move to UC, and others will follow in the following months.
We'll keep you updated as this process progresses.
If you have any questions or need advice, please contact our Money Matters Team, they’re on hand to provide free, impartial advice to our customers.
