Tyne and Wear Homes, which advertises affordable housing across the region, will soon be coming to an end.
From Tuesday, 6 December 2022 you will no longer be able to apply for housing or bid for properties on Tyne and Wear Homes. After this date each council area that currently advertises properties through this scheme will have its own website where people can apply for and search for housing.
The new websites will be very similar to Tyne and Wear Homes and the way you search and bid for properties won’t change. You will be able to login using the same login details and password. All outstanding applicants will be contacted directly and provided with further information about the new websites and what this means for them.
No properties will be advertised on Tyne and Wear Homes as of Thursday 1 December 2022. You'll be able to bid for properties on the new website for your chosen council area from Thursday 8 December.
Keep checking this page for the most up to date information.
You'll be able to find a list of the new websites here once they go live www.tyneandwearhomes.org.uk/
