The rollout of Universal Credit (UC) continues with more customers across the region being invited to claim.
There are numerous different groups that will be invited to claim over the next year. We’ve outlined them below to help you understand what you need to look out for and when!
From April
The next round of migration notices are being sent from April.
These will be sent to those claiming income support and those claiming tax credits with housing benefit.
From June
Those claiming Housing Benefit only (excluding those who claim in supported or temporary accommodation) will be sent letters about moving to UC from June 2024.
From July
Those who claim employment support allowance (with our without housing benefits) will receive their migration notices from July onwards.
If you receive a letter and are unsure of what to do next, please contact the Money Matters team at moneymatters@karbonhomes.co.uk or on 0808 164 0111.
