This Project is a unique partnership of local authorities, housing providers and employment support organisations working across Newcastle, North Tyneside and Northumberland delivered on behalf of the North of Tyne Combined Authority.
It aims to engage unemployed and inactive housing tenants by providing flexible, tailored and intensive support to help remove barriers, improve skills and find work.
North of Tyne Working Homes is part-funded by the European Social Fund as part of the England 2014 to 2020 European Structural and Investment Funds Growth Programme.
L!NKCD
The aim of L!NKCD is to support out of work residents aged 25+ years old with multiple and complex barriers to participation by addressing these underlying issues and to support them to move closer to or into the labour market. We will work with our 4 partners across County Durham to engage, support & progress those County Durham residents most disadvantaged and most distant from the labour market including ex-offenders, housing tenants, minority groups.

Foundations for Life – CLLD
The aim of the Foundations for Life project is to support out of work residents aged 25+ years old to improve their literacy, numeracy and digital skills to help them move closer to the labour market with the foundation skills to achieve.

Christmas opening hours 🎅
During the Christmas holidays we'll be running our out-of-hours service from 12.30pm on Tuesday 24 December 2024 to 8am on Thursday 2 January 2025.
Our out-of-hours service can help you with emergency repairs, reports of anti-social behavior and rent payments. Just call us on our usual number 0808 164 0111. Our Supported Housing service will remain available during the holidays.
Don't forget, we won’t be able to reply to emails or social media messages during the holidays but you can still use your online MyKarbon account anytime.
