In accordance with the Lease, Karbon homes has nomination rights

     when a property is to be sold, there is also a Section 106 Agreement

     with the Local Authority in place to ensure that priority is given to local

     purchasers.  There is a set timescale whereby priority must be given to

     locals and what is defined as ‘local’.  

Under the terms of the Lease we have a 10 week period in which to 

nominate a purchaser for the property. If we were unable to find a 

purchaser from our list and as such the current owner can arrange to sell

 their share of the property through an Estate Agent such as yourselves. *please note that we did not require 10 weeks but the local connection will apply for a potential buyer until 10 weeks from 16/12/2024.

The local area is parishes within Rothbury, thropton, Harbottle Alwinton, Alham, Esldon, Biddlestone, Netherton, Brinkburn, Hesleyhurst, Cartington, Hepple, Nunnykirk, Rothley, Hollinghill, Snitter and they shall either be employed or have their place of business including farms within these parishes or can currently reside there
