Step 3
Prepare your application
To apply for a role at Karbon Homes, you will need the following:
CV – Please ensure you have listed the relevant skills and experience that the position requires, outlining your main achievements. If you need some support with this, we have created a CV template for you.
Supporting Statement – This is your opportunity to tell us why you are the right fit for the job. Please use the role description and person specification when completing this section, to ensure you are covering the specific criteria needed for the role.
At Karbon Homes, we are committed to providing reasonable adjustments to support applicants throughout the recruitment process. If you require any adjustments at the application stage, please don’t hesitate to contact our recruitment team. For example, if you feel you would perform better with a video application rather than a written one, we would be happy to accommodate this.
Step 4
Submit your application
Once you have all application materials ready, it’s time to apply!
Select the job you wish to apply for, select ‘Apply online’. You will then be asked 2 questions regarding your eligibility to work in the UK.
Now it’s time to create an account by selecting ‘New user registration’. Once you have made your account, you are now ready to submit your application. If you have any questions, please email the recruitment team.
Step 5
Confirmation
Once you have successfully applied, you will receive a confirmation email acknowledging that we have received your application.
Your application will be carefully reviewed after the closing date. If you are shortlisted, you will receive an invite to interview.
If you are unsuccessful on this occasion, you will receive an email to confirm you have not been shortlisted. If you are selected for an interview, please read these tips to help you prepare for your interview!
Step 6
Interview
Attending an interview can be overwhelming, but here Karbon Homes we want you to feel comfortable enough to be your best self in your interview.

Step 7
Onboarding
If you are offered a role with Karbon homes, the hiring manager and the Recruitment team will be in touch with you throughout the onboarding process, providing support if required.
As a heads up, all roles with Karbon Homes require the following pre-employment checks:
- Right to work in the UK
- DBS check (Basic or Enhanced, depending on the role)
- Employment references covering a 3 year period
- Occupational health clearance
- Qualifications check (depending on the role)
At this stage of the process, any reasonable adjustments you require to undertake your role can be discussed to ensure you have the correct support in place to allow you to succeed.
